Magnificent place! The view over the rice fields is simply incredible, and the pool, nestled in the heart of nature, also offers an exceptional view of the valley and the rivers. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and their terrace is particularly pleasant. The restaurant, largely open to the outdoors, offers high-quality cuisine, with a vegetarian menu available, and the breakfast buffet is probably the best of our stay. I will finish with a word for the team: always attentive, always smiling, always ready to find a solution to your needs or your situation. Thank you for everything!

Rewriting this review to include some feedback on the statues of the Buddha in the lobby and restaurant. It's such a lovely place. The management runs the place very well. The surrounding area is good to explore as there are some interesting shrines and temples. The views of the rice fields are stunning. The bed in the room is super comfy and love the farmer theme and style of the room. *****One piece of feedback. Could you please not have the Buddha's head sculptures in the restaurant. It's not good to use the Buddha statue as a decoration because you serve meat at your restaurant and it's wrong to use the Buddha statue in general as decorations. It's sets a bad example. As a Buddhist I was very surprised to see this in a Vietnamese hotel as Vietnam is a majority Buddhist nation. I really hope you can do something about this feedback. I would like to stay at your property again but this one issue will make me look elsewhere for my next visit to Nui Sam and I'm guessing you probably have similar decor at your other properties throughout Vietnam which means I'll have to avoid your other hotels until changes are made. It also gives the wrong impression to the western foreign visitors who will think it's ok to have the Buddha as a regular piece of decor.

I had an amazing stay at Victoria Núi Sam Lodge! The location is absolutely stunning — perched on the mountainside with breathtaking views of rice fields and sunsets. The rooms are beautifully designed with a cozy, natural vibe that blends perfectly with the surroundings. The infinity pool overlooking the valley is definitely the highlight! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay, always smiling and attentive to every detail. The restaurant also offers delicious local and Western dishes — the breakfast buffet was lovely. If you’re looking for peace, nature, and comfort, this is the perfect place to unwind. Highly recommend staying at least two nights to fully enjoy the view and atmosphere

Beautiful place with a great location and a very relaxing atmosphere. The view from the lodge is amazing and the overall experience was enjoyable. The service was also good and the staff were friendly. The only small downside is that the room felt a bit dark, especially at night. More lighting would make the room feel more comfortable. Overall, it was still a very nice stay and I would recommend this place.

Right on Nui Sam with fantastic open views over rice paddies, and feels very close to nature. It is extremely quiet, especially at night, and clearly best suited for people who want a relaxing stay rather than sightseeing at a fast pace. Service was good and attentive. One thing to be aware of is that there are quite a lot of steps up and down to reach the rooms. The staff will kindly carry your luggage, but you still need to walk yourself, so it may not be ideal for elderly guests traveling alone or anyone with difficulty walking. Breakfast is limited in choice but tasty and well prepared. A practical tip if you want to buy dried local specialties is to go to the market at the bottom of Nui Sam. It is less picturesque than Chau Doc market, but the products are good quality and prices are not inflated. For dried squid or fish specifically, go to “Cô Mỵ” shop inside the market. She also has a separate shop on đường 1 near the market which holds different products. We also enjoyed spotting birds around the property, including bim bip, hoopoe, long tailed black birds, and several other Vietnamese species. Would definitely recommend, if you want a calm and scenic place to slow down and enjoy the surroundings.

My family and I spent our second night in Chau Doc at Victoria Nui Sam Lodge, and it was truly a wonderful experience.||The connecting room was perfect for our family, with a beautiful view overlooking endless green rice fields. The room felt warm and cozy, with unique interiors and charming colors that made it stand out from most hotels I've stayed in.||The infinity pool is definitely the highlight of the property. Swimming while enjoying the peaceful rice field views was incredibly relaxing.||I would highly recommend Victoria Nui Sam Lodge to anyone visiting Chau Doc. We will definitely come back!

Fantastic reprieve from the heat and bustle of the cities and towns. Gorgeous stone buildings and lovely staff. |It has a lovely big pool which is due some maintenance (a few tiles missing and the like) but is a great place to relax |Highly recommend this for a couple of days escape from the crowds
