vietnamkb.com is an editorial site. We don't sell your data and we don't retarget you. We do carry advertising, in one specific form — see advertising and affiliate links below.

What we collect

• Newsletter signups — email address, the page you subscribed from, and the timestamp. Used only to send the newsletter.
• Contact form submissions — what you put in the form. Used only to reply.
• Server logs — standard request logs (IP, user agent, path) kept short-term for abuse prevention.

Advertising and affiliate links

This site runs a third-party script from a travel affiliate network (Travelpayouts). It loads on every page. What it does is add a partner referral code to outbound links that already point at that network's travel partners — flight and hotel search, that kind of thing. If you click one and go on to book, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Two things follow from that, and you should know both. The script is loaded from a third-party domain, so that third party can see that your browser requested it, along with the usual details any web request carries — your IP address, user agent and the page you were on. And if you click one of those partner links, the destination site and the affiliate network can set their own cookies and record the referral under their own privacy policies, not ours.

What it does not do: it does not insert links into our articles, and it does not change which places, operators or routes we recommend. Recommendations here are not chosen by commission — see our editorial policy. Blocking third-party scripts in your browser or with an ad blocker stops it, and the site works normally without it.

What we don't do

• No display ad units, no pop-ups, no interstitials, no sponsored articles.
• No analytics pixels and no advertising profile built by us.
• No data sharing or sale.
